Poor Dash Cam Video Quality: Check the Lens Stickers
Most often the red protective stickers are still on the lenses. If they have been removed, check the mounting position and the camera angles next.
Remove the red protective stickers
The camera ships with red protective stickers on the lenses. Remove all of them. Leaving them on will degrade video quality and may obstruct the camera's view.
Check the mounting position and angle
The camera should sit on the windshield below the rearview mirror and above the windshield sweep area, with a clear view of both the road ahead and the vehicle cabin. Use the safety screwdriver to unlock the camera, adjust the road-facing and cabin-facing angles, and tighten the locking screw once set. See the full mounting steps.
Check the windshield
